La Bio Idea
Every now and then some projects come our way that are too good to be true. La Bio Idea is the real deal – truly authentic 100% organic Sicilian products from small family producers that genuinely taste incredible. But their branding was outdated, full of cliché, and uninspiring – just the sort of challenge we love.
We based our concept around the fresh vibrant designs of Sicilian tiles – breaking category norms in HFS (Health Food Stores) and reinvigorating the brand with a burst of colour and modernity.
We love to really take the time to craft our designs – just like sicilian home cooking. With a wide range of organic products, our flexible and colourful design totally transforms simple commodity products like chickpeas and beluga lentils into desirable Sicilian treasures.
We also gave prominence to the small family suppliers, by bringing their signatures to the front of pack, and celebrating their heritage and pride in their traditional production methods in the story on pack.
The result is a refreshed, re-energised brand that brings the bright, fresh sicilian colours into your kitchen.
It’s not just about creating cool new packaging though. Designing the brand world was also fun – using the tile system as a design grid to create unity across off-pack communications.
